Location: Syracuse, NY (Hybrid)
Pay: $17/hour
Time: ~5 hours/week (flexible; occasional extra hours around shoots/campaigns)

Photos by Lars is a creative product photography studio specializing in dynamic visuals for food & beverage CPG brands. We help brands stand out with bold, attention-grabbing imagery.

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to help grow our online presence across multiple channels (not just social) and bring more of the right brands into our world.

What You’ll Do (Digital Marketing – Primary Focus)

Content & Channel Management

• Help plan and execute a simple, repeatable content system across: Instagram + TikTok (short-form), LinkedIn, Pinterest, and our blog.
• Repurpose one core idea into multiple formats (post, short video, pin, LinkedIn post, blog snippet).
• Maintain a lightweight content calendar and keep us consistent week to week.

Blog + SEO (Ongoing)

• Support the blog with topic research, outlines, and drafting/editing posts (case studies, how-to’s, BTS breakdowns).
• Assist with basic SEO: keyword research, titles/meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and image alt text.
• Track what’s working and suggest updates (refresh old posts, improve pages, add internal links).

Social Media Management

• Schedule and publish content on IG/TikTok and LinkedIn
• Engage with comments/DMs as needed.
• Capture behind-the-scenes content when you’re at shoots (or help organize it if shoots are remote).

Secondary Focus

• Help build a system for email marketing (newsletter and email sequences)
• Help build a partnership program for potential partners (agencies, designers, etc)

Who You Are

• Studying or interested in marketing, communications, design, or entrepreneurship.
• A strong writer with a natural ability to craft engaging content.
• Creative, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative.
• Familiar with (and eager to learn) Canva, Google Drive, scheduling tools, and basic analytics platforms.

Nice to Have (not required):

• SEO basics, Pinterest strategy, short-form editing (CapCut/Premiere), or experience writing blogs/case studies.
